The Phillips Association of Puroks also known as PAPS in cooperation with Del Monte Philippines, Inc. and Tactical Unit – Pinelands Airsoft Club will be holding its 1st Airsoft Tournament on February 8, 2009, Sunday (one day event) at Camp Phillips, Bukidnon, dubbed as: “Assault on Sector 7”, a Close Quarter Battle (CQB with scenario point system) Competition. The said event will help promote the hobby and game of airsoft in the community. The activity will also strengthen the group bond to the society especially to the youth thus, encouraging them thru the welfare of sports.
The said event will also serve as a flagship for the upcoming projects of Team T.U.P.A.C. In this regard, we would like to invite your Team for this upcoming important event, we all know that you have an overwhelming support into the game we love, it would be a great honor if you could support us on our activity. "Important details"
The use of cellular phones, radios, and other communication devices is allowed when running the tournament course.
As a matter of policy, the tournament will push thru rain or shine. Teams must be willing to play under adverse weather conditions. In the event that the weather gets too adverse that it poses a safety hazard to the players, the organizers reserve the right to postpone the tournament and reschedule it on another weekend.
By joining the tournament and paying the corresponding tournament fee, you are hereby agreeing to the following stipulations:
1. You will abide by the adjudication process set forth by the organizers.
2. You are willing to submit to the authority of the tournament marshalls and respect and abide by their decision.
3. In case your team is disqualified, you agree that any and all payments and fees paid for the tournament shall be forfeited in favour of the tournament organizers.
4. Regardless of the reason, any and all payments made to the tournament organizers are strictly non-refundable.
5. In case there is a major issue or conflict to be resolved, the chief marshall shall be the sole deciding authority and you shall respect and abide by whatever decision the chief marshall promulgates.
6. You agree that the organizers and marshalls shall hold the entire team liable for the individual actions of its members.
7. You agree to sign a waiver form prior to running the tournament course; in the event you refuse or fail to sign the waiver form, the organizers will not allow you to participate in the tournament and you will automatically be disqualified and your payment shall likewise be automatically forfeited in favour of the tournament organizers.
PAYMENT METHOD:
We can only accommodate a maximum of 11 teams (15 players per team with unlimited reserves) for this tournament. All players including reserves must pay P300 per participant. Payment for the reserve players will be collected on the inclusive date. Reservations are on a first come, first served basis. You may reserve a slot for your team by depositing the full payment of P4,500.00 (15 players) in any BPI branch on or before February 2, 2009. Please deposit the said payment in the account below:

SAFETY FIRST ON THE PLAYING FIELD:
ﺀNo real Firearms/Ammo (e.g. real guns / real knife)
ﺀNo Players are allowed if under the influence of Drugs or Alcohol.
ﺀConsider every gun loaded.
ﺀNo flaunting/showing of AEG’s to spectators
ﺀNever point your AEG to anybody/anything you do not intend to shoot
ﺀNo protective gears (vest, face mask, etc.) no play.
ﺀWearing of Short pants & sandals is not allowed inside the playing field.
MARSHAL’S DECISION:
Observe proper decorum at all times and respect marshal’s decision.
Only the team leader is allowed to present to the head marshal regarding their team’s complaints.
Complaints will be addressed after every game otherwise a yellow card will be called. Each team is provided 3 “blue cards” as access for their complaints to be addressed. They will no longer be entertained after all 3 blue cards are used.
GAME OBJECTIVE:
Your intelligence operative has been captured and locked in an enemy prisoner’s cell. Your team is given 3 keys, only one of those keys has the access in unlocking the cell. Rescue your operative and bring him to Safe Zone.
POINT SYSTEM
-Rescuing and bringing your captured operative to safe zone = 100 points
STAGING RULES:
1. The Head marshal will give the participants the time schedules for each team to play.
2. No grace period policy. In the event any player or team is not available upon staging area call up time, they will not be allowed to enter. Team shall play handicapped.
3. Chrono will be done at the chrono area prior to every game.
ﺀ AEGs with a chrono of more than 450 fps using a .2 bb will not be allowed and automatically be impounded at the chrono area for the duration of the tournament. It also follows that when a team has been found out of exceeding the chrono limit, they will be playing with only 13 AEG’s on hand for the duration of the tournament, it also follows that if 2 AEG’s exceeded the chrono limit then that respective team will also be playing with 12 AEG’s on hand and so on. However, the player/players without his/their AEG/s will still be allowed to play. (.2 bbs for chrono purposes will be provided).
4. Use of BOX MAGS, DRUM MAGS and C-MAGS is not allowed. Only standard mags are allowed.
5. Marshals have the right to conduct random chrono after each game and inspect AEGs for suspected high FPS. AEG’s identified with high FPS will automatically disqualify the team for that particular game and the opposing team wins the game
6. A team that will have an accumulated five (5) yellow cards for a single game will automatically be disqualified and the opposing team automatically wins.
7. Only the team leader is allowed to present complaints to the head marshal otherwise a yellow card will be served to the team.
8. NO radios or communication equipment allowed during play.
9. MARSHALL’S DECISION IS ALWAYS FINAL.
GAME MECHANICS:
1. Ranking will be based on the total points gained by a team for the whole duration of the tournament. Penalties will be deducted from the team’s total points. (CHAMPION, 1ST RUNNER-UP, 2ND RUNNER-UP)
2. Team without a penalty or who has the lowest penalty for the duration of the event will receive the SPORTMANSHIP AWARD. The team with most number of points will be given the award in case of a tie.
3. The game ends when:
a. One of the rescued prisoner reaches the safe zone.
b. Both prisoners are eliminated.
c. The 5-minute allotted time is finished.
PLAYERS ELIMINATION:
ﺀDirect line to anybody and extensions is considered hit
ﺀFriendly fire
ﺀKnife Kill (must be carrying an AEG, when tapping players)
ﺀAsked to surrender within 5M
ﺀTwo players at point blank considered as draw (both are eliminated)
ﺀRicochets are not considered “hit”
ﺀPenetrating shot through obstacles (e.g. streamers, wall barriers);any part of the AEG’s are not considered “hit”.
ﺀEliminated players may leave their AEG’s at the point where they were declared “hit” and active players may it pick-up.
ﺀHit players to acknowledge by raising AEG over the head and/or by shouting HIT while going to the insertion point/neutral zone. Failure to comply is still considered as a threat and may still be fired upon.
VIOLATIONS:
Yellow Card (20 points deduction and out of the game)
ﺀComplaining and/or arguing to the marshals while the game is still ongoing
